I’m actually amazed that the existence of the DVR hasn’t done more to change the ad-based nature of network television in the age of Netflix, HBOGO, etc.. and their delivery method of providing the entirety of a shows season at one time… commercial-free “binge-watching” is clearly the trend that viewers prefer and will soon be the ingrained expectation… so how and when will network television respond.
