I was surprised how hard it was to find an interesting article on being left-handed… perhaps an opportunity has shown itself? Thousands of (mini) articles on celebrities that are left-handed… but slim pickin’s from there… however I did come across “The Sinister Handed” by Dr. Adrian Flatt which is a decent place to start I suppose.

“They’re imitators. They’re operators. And they’re turning their teacher’s lessons against him.” One of those articles that I think might be great to look back on at some happier future point, especially if one of these ‘imitators’ ends up being the one that brings Trump down for whatever reason.

“Antonio Brown. Gronk. Aaron Donald. Von Miller. All on the same team? Yeah, we did it. Forget last year’s squad – this is the best NFL roster money can buy under the salary cap.” A really interesting interactive piece on ESPN. com.

Continuing the baseball theme this weekend… there are certain debates around baseball that I don’t feel all that passionate about, at least at this point… stuff like whether or not to bring the DH to the National League… the rise in strikeouts versus balls in play in the saber-metric era… speed of the game rules… but on the issue of the ‘electronic strike-zone’, I’ve got to say I fall more old school… for me, the game just wouldn’t feel the same without live umpires on the field and behind the plate which carries with it the possibility of human error… Ben Zobrist doesn’t agree.
