“Everywhere I turn,” a source close to the project tells Rolling Stone, “it’s, ‘Holy crap.'” Even more surprising are the detailed guidelines Prince left behind for turning Paisley Park into a museum after his death… including an update on the messy battle over Prince’s estate… and still no will, but work to settle the estate forges ahead…finally, some live Sacrifice of Victor, just for fun… will OSX Sierra break our Adobe Apps?

Earlier today in a California District Court, a huge coalition of recording labels sued the world’s largest YouTube ripping site.

Today’s link is more of a public service announcement for all those needing a beyond accurate weather app for the iOS ecosphere… I’ve been using DarkSky for a while now and with much of my personal life revolving around baseball and softball, I find it indispensable… it’s now a web site… but if you don’t have the app, shoot over to the Apple App Store and pick it up ($4)… here’s a nice write-up that explains how the App does what it does…

“The thing that I’ve seen the last five years is how well he handles people, how well he chooses people for his (front office) team, how well his chooses players for his team and his ability to judge character and put together the right human resources on the same team has been truly remarkable,” Ricketts said… the Cubs sign both Theo and Jed to contract extensions.

GoPro’s entry into the drone product category is a tremendous first effort. Called Karma, there’s a lot that’s great about this product along with a couple things that aren’t so great… the more I read about it, the more I’m tempted to wait for version 2 on this one… just so they can hopefully figure out some of the stuff that’s not so great… such as 20 minutes of battery life for the drone with additional batteries costing in the $100-150 range, too expensive… but on the upside, GoPro is offering a bundle with the new Hero 5 Black (which is an excellent action cam in its 5th revision) for only $300 over the cost of the Karma, which will save you $100… also apparent is that the Karma is two products in one as they made the stabilizing arm that holds the camera detachable… this allows for some nice features including stabilization with your feet firmly planted on terra firma… and no one shows off their own products better than GoPro themselves…

“We always crack up when they’re like, ‘You’re coming to take our guns,'” says Corey Ray with an eye roll. “Look, we don’t have the people.” Ray, an ATF spokesman, reels off some facts: More than 10 million guns are made in the United States every year, and another 5 million are imported. That’s on top of the estimated 350 million already in Americans’ hands. Then consider that there are only 2,600 ATF special agents, and it’s not hard to see why gun grabbing isn’t just a political fantasy, but a mathematical impossibility. “Even if we were like, ‘Yeah, we’re coming to take your guns,'” Ray says, “30 years from now you might get a knock on your door.” America circling the bowl.

Today’s link is important to me… and is included here in case it’s important to you as well… Mac OSX 10.12 Sierra is now available… the question I ALWAYS have when a new OS launches is… will some of my older software installations still function? Or will they break with the update. First stop is always everything from Adobe.
