Profoundly sad news as his work product has touched and informed my own life pretty much every day of my adult life… Chicago radio legend Norm Winer, who’s been the heart and soul of WXRT FM 93.1 for 37 years, resigned Wednesday — just weeks after he lost his position as program director of the station he played such a huge role in making one of the finest in the country. His last day is Friday.

The police descended deeper into the catacombs of Paris and discovered a 400 square meter cavern with a fully equipped cinema. It included a giant cinema screen, projection equipment, chairs and a handful of films, from film noir classics to recent thrillers. Someone had turned this abandoned underground cavern into a secret amphitheater.
