Opening Day 2016… for Cubs fans it has been a long winter after reaching the brink of the World Series last year only to be turned back by the New York Mets… but today, hope blooms eternal and the Chicago Cubs seem to be the odds-on bet to take it all… but that kinda talk just makes everyone around here nervous, especially when the next best 2 teams in baseball are in the same Division as we are… Fingers crossed, let’s enjoy the ride.

For those of you that purchase products from Apple, regardless of which kind of products… the MacRumors Buyer’s Guide is a fantastic resource that tracks product cycles and then offers recommendations on whether or not it’s currently a good time to buy… or it would be better to wait as an update is on the horizon… check it out.

The Panama Papers… that’s going to be a phrase the world hears a lot over the coming months… unfortunately, rich people suck… by any means necessary.

Villanova comes up big at the buzzer… With a 3-pointer from Kris Jenkins as time expired, the Wildcats topped North Carolina, 77-74, to secure their first championship since their memorable run as a No. 8 seed in 1985… and as ESPN notes, they’ve kept hope alive for the underdogs…

Great to hear that original Chicago drummer Danny Seraphine will be re-joining the band he co-founded for induction into the R’n’R Hall of Fame later this month… for the requisite onstage performance, Danny will play double drums on two of three selections with Tris Imboden, who has been in the band for the past 25 years.
